BACKGROUND:
Background
Part 1: What is it like to be on a STOP assignment in Ethiopia? A three month work experience as a volunteer participant is visually described and discussed. The opportunity to observe rural life style, assist with polio eradication and measles vaccine programs, and to help local health workers improve immunization services in 2004 are featured.
Part 2: What is it like to help with polio eradication in Nigeria? A worker who assisted in National Immunization Days in November 2004 will describe the program, experience, and results.

PowerPoint presentations will illustrate immunization programs in Ethiopia and Nigeria as well as portray rural life in Ethiopia.
