Pediatric Vaccine Stockpiles: Past, Present, and Future

BACKGROUND:
The Pediatric Vaccine Stockpile program has been in place since 1983. The program has evolved into a $700M program. The history of the stockpile, the current status of the stockpile and the future of the stockpile portrays a diverse and very fluid program.

OBJECTIVE:
Attendees of this workshop will learn the importance of having a Pediatric Vaccine Stockpile.

METHOD:
Data will be presented via oral presentation supported by a powerpoint presentation.

RESULT:
Attendees of this workshop will learn about the Pediatric Vaccine Stockpile, its history and future, and its importance to the entire vaccine management program at NIP.

CONCLUSION:
Attendees of this workshop will learn the importance of having a Pediatric Vaccine Stockpile.
