Web Application Users vs Non-Web Users and Immunization Series Completion Rates

Learning Objectives for this Presentation:
By the end of the presentation participants will be able to determine the benefits of using an interactive Web application in regards to immunization completion rates.

Background:
Arizona has providers that use an interactive Web application to provide data to the Registry. Other providers report using manual paper data entry forms.

Objectives:
Comparison of completion rates for users of the application and those that don't.

Methods:
AFIX evaluations and completion rates for users of the application and non-users.

Results:
Hopefully, those that use the on-line registry application will have higher completion rates.

Conclusions:
Use of the registry on a regular basis results in higher completion rates for 2 year old children.
