Sex, Drugs, and Zombies? Stories of Successful Drug and Sexual Health Education Programs

Despite decades of research and outreach, rates of conditions resulting from risky behaviors continue to pervade public health. The panelist n this session will present completely unique program approaches to reach MSM and increase use of condoms; talk to teens about responsible sexual and reproductive health; and combat the dangers of synthetic marijuana (aka, “fake weed”) among youth. These are not simple issues, but the understanding of the audiences and the cultural influences that play a role have led to innovative ideas to motivate change.
