Analyzing Communication Processes and Elements to Inform Message Development

This session lists how analysis of communication between audience members and previous communication efforts targeted to audience members can help guide potential communication efforts to change audience behavior. Formative research studies often ignore these vital elements and thus this session fills an important gap in the behavior change literature. Attendees will enhance their understanding on this critical analytical step with special emphasis on communication theories.
