The Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD) is an ongoing monitoring project in which CDC collects data on vaccine safety in the United States; 3 VSD sites will add HPV-related outcomes (CIN, genital warts, vaginal and vulvar lesions, and RRP) to their assessments. This data will provide valuable information on impact of the HPV vaccine. Specimens collected in 2 VSD sites will assist in monitoring distribution of HPV types in cytology and biopsy specimens after introduction of the HPV vaccine.
