Recognizing the heterogeneity of methamphetamine-using MSM, we developed a 6-session modular intervention tailorable to participants’ HIV (+/-) and injection drug use (yes/no) status (n=70).  A single-arm pilot efficacy trial using a pre/post design determined whether participants reported fewer risk behaviors in the two months after completing the intervention compared with the two months before the intervention.  Preliminary results indicate that both sexual and injection risk behavior decreased during the follow-up period.  Efficacy needs to be further assessed via randomized controlled trials.
