Local Planned Parenthood health centers and advocates (VOX chapters) mobilize youth through promotions, educational outreach and events, reaching nearly 52,000 youth in April 2010. PPFA activities are supported by other GYT partner activities (at schools, CBOs, clinics, etc). In 2011, CDC funded the implementation/evaluation of nine geographically dispersed, locally tailored GYT efforts reaching high-risk youth through diverse settings, channels and activities. CDC also partnered with 12 geographically-dispersed colleges to implement and evaluate on-campus GYT activities. All colleges reported increased testing; over half reported an increase in chlamydia cases compared to the previous month or year. Other results will be shared.
