In 2009, New York City (NYC) DOHMH recorded approximately 65,000 cases of Chlamydia trachomatis (Ct), 11,000 cases of Neisseria gonorrhea (Ng), 1500 of syphilis and 3600 new diagnoses of HIV.  Faced with syndemics of HIV and syphilis among MSM, enormous racial disparities in Ng and Ct rates, and economic difficulties, prioritizing disease intervention efforts is a constant challenge. Lacking the resources to systematically address each of its 11,000 gonorrhea case-persons, we used national trends and local data to target some effort toward GC prevention.  Details of our multi-pronged approach will be discussed.
