The analysis and interpretation of CT surveillance data allows STD programs to understand disease distribution and transmission in the communities they serve.  Such understanding can identify vulnerable populations and gives public health officials information that enables more effective allocation of resources to maximize the impact of program activities.  This discussion will describe how CT surveillance and screening data have been used to direct resources to serve the most heavily impacted communities. Examples include targeting CT screening resources to clinics with at least 3% positivity, increasing access to and utilization of expedited partner therapy, and strategies to increase adolescent screening.
