Tuesday, March 13, 2012: 10:15 AM-12:00 PM
Nicollet Grand Ballroom (A/B)
Background/Purpose:

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) invests significantly in primary care, focusing on FQHCs to deliver that care. While FQHCs provide some sexual health services, these services may not be as comprehensive as those provided in family planning or STD care settings. Finding ways to link sexual health providers with FQHCs will be critical as ACA implementation moves forward.

Objectives of Symposium:

This symposium will discuss some of the details that sexual health providers should consider when negotiating an agreement with an FQHC.

Implications for Programs, Policy, and Research:

This symposium will provide sexual health providers with specific tools for creating partnerships with FQHCs.
