The implications of concussions among youth is an emerging public health topic. Working toward effective solutions will take a deeper understanding of the role of coaches, parents, policy and culture. The panelists in this session have started to uncover the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of coaches, athletes, parents, providers and schools in understanding and addressing this issue and are looking at the effectiveness of communication tools to affect the culture of youth athletics and head safety.
