Panelists will describe how specific marketing, awareness and education campaigns used mediums best suited to reaching their markets. Staff from a Virginia campaign promoting healthy alternatives to sugar-sweetened beverages will describe digitalized communications to coordinate in-person communication that is measureable, impactful and locally driven. CDC staff will discuss a communications program promoting non-violent, respectful dating relationships for young teens. Our third panelist will discuss how radio was used to raise awareness about maternal mortality rates in Madagascar.
