This session highlights the use of mobile technology to engage busy health managers in one country with data available for decision making wherever they travel, regardless of Internet access, and presented in a manner that is secure, and easily usable. This has resulted in more confident decision making about use of country resources. In the second presentation, the SMS notification system used in another country has reduced time to HIV diagnosis among HIV-exposed infants, which should result in improved survival.
