Socio-cultural factors that influence sexual/drug-risk and protective behavior for Black gay and bisexual men Recent data indicate Black gay and bisexual men have shown significant increases in reported HIV and STDs. While there have been a number of interventions for White gay and bisexual men, there have been very few evidence-based interventions for Black gay and bisexual men. The presentation will discuss the methodology for conducting formative research to better understand the cultural practices, philosophies, behaviors, and environmental influences for sexual/drug-risk behavior of Black gay and bisexual men.
