B1.2 Promoting GYT: On-Air and Web Components

GYT campaign messages are delivered on MTV stations in PSAs, news pieces, and original programs.  All messages drive viewers to the campaign web site, which features comprehensive STD information, supporting videos and graphics, and a testing locator that allows users to find STD services by text message or online search.  The web site allows users to create GYT materials, and find links to social media.  Evaluation of these online assets includes process measures (5 hours of air time on MTV; 5 additional hours on affiliated stations) and outcome measures (44,000 testing referrals through web; 17,000 through text).
